Bon Weekend, Plus Couture Cocktails

I hope your weekend if off to a perfect start!  We’ve received our first snowfall of the season, a big change after a couple of days of 70 degree temperatures.  Today was mostly spent indoors baking brownies and warming cups of hot cocoa for snowman/snow-woman builders while little sleepy Frenchie’s snuggled in their beds near the fire keeping one eye on the children outside.

Other than shopping, we were hoping to spend an evening at the zoo this for Christmas festivities and a lakeside dinner at a near by restaurant; however, those plans may alter to only a lakeside dinner since Mother Nature is not cooperating.

Couture Cocktails
L’Orange Winter Sangria Martini

GREY GOOSE® L’Orange 1 ½ Parts
ST. GERMAIN® Liqueur ½ Part
Pomegranate Juice 2 Parts
Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice ½ Part

Preparation:
Add all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Shake vigorously and strain into a martini cocktail glass.
Garnish with a rose petal.

What a change in temperature for you and you chose a beautiful image to begin your post. I know I would enjoy the cocktail as I like all these ingredients!
