Bon Weekend plus Couture Cocktails ~

On the first day of my Interior Design II course, each student was given an iconic piece of furniture to use in a downtown loft design (my fingers were secretly crossed for the Barcelona, Eames Lounge or Egg chairs).  Instead I was give the Bertoia bar stool.  Although not what I originally wished for, this piece really is spectacular and I’m having so much fun with it… I hope to use it in the world!

The iconic Diamond chair series, first produced in 1952 by Knoll, was Bertoia’s motivation to create pieces that were functional as well as sculptural.

Asymmetrical Chaise
These pieces embellish some of the swankiest spaces in the world…
How amazing do they look in The Ice Bar at the Four Seasons Hotel, Dublin?
