“You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.” ~ Dr Seuss
I’ve been absent this week as I was wrapping up my finals… now I am able to relax for a few weeks and I couldn’t be happier! I have so many projects in the works at home (perhaps relaxing isn’t in my immediate future).
Couture Cocktails
Le Fleur de Paradis
2 oz Gin
.5 oz Lemon juice
.5 oz Grapefruit juice
.75 oz St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
.25 oz Simple syrup
Dash orange bitters
1 oz Perrier-Jouët champagne
Garnish: Flower

Shake all ingredients, except for champagne, with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass. Top with champagne and garnish with an edible flower from a gourmet food store.
A perfect way to begin the weekend, non?
What are your weekend plans?

BONJOUR MON AMIE!
Oh dearest, another fine cocktail to set us on our way of relaxation and total abandon!
YOUR FINALS ARE WRAPPING UP????? AWESOME!
Oh dearest, I am staying here at the cottage, enjoying every single moment. I will actually be back next week, but it is a long story, but in short, I found my muse. I will be back as usual !!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR VISIT!!! Anita
How wonderful that you are going to have few weeks to enjoy and spend time doing things for you (and the children/family) before it all starts again. Wishing you a fabulous week-end… I'm going to be looking at the 200 plus photos of my new nephew, we took on our visit!! xo HHL
Oh, that cocktail sounds divine!
That cocktail looks delicious. I discovered St.Germain elderflower liqueur last year and am still deeply in love with the flavor.
