Bon weekend, mes amis! I hope you had a great week and a fun, or relaxing, weekend planned. Hopefully, I will be doing both! Not much is on my agenda except spending quality time with my family. I love weekends where we wake up and decide our plans at that moment. After a week of playing hard ~ a theme park, bike rides, hiking, BBQ’ing and making s’mores, and trying new recipes, a little relaxation and repose will be happily accepted.
Couture Cocktails
I’m not a fan of cocktails made with mixes, I much prefer for them to be made from fresh ingredients. Not only do they taste better, but they’re typically less calories as well. Elderflower liqueur has always been a favourite and incorporating it in a margarita recipe is brilliant! I picked up a small bottle of Elderflower liqueur at Vosges Chocolate a couple of weeks ago while in Chicago. I tried a small sample in the boutique and it was delicious! I will post a review once I use it in a recipe.
