I hope you had a lovely summer. It flew by in the wink of an eye. I missed writing on the blog and FB but really needed to take a hiatus during the summer months and devote extra time to the kids. As many of you know, they grow up way too fast and I cherish every moment that I spend with them. I can hardly believe I have two in high school and one in middle school. Some of the biggest names in the fashion industry are located in Paris and, naturally, good style will be seen throughout the city. While the tree-lined Champs-Elysées, famous Avenue Montaigne and the chic rue Saint Honoré are home to the most prestigious luxury brands in the world, neighborhoods such as Saint-Germain des Près and the Marais are filled with unique, eclectic and vintage boutiques. Over the next 7 weeks, I will be writing a series, French Style Inspiration, that will cover my favorite French fashion and iconic labels, handbags, shoes, perfume and beauty labels, and style icons as well as the details that I feel make each quintessentially French. Today, I’ve highlighted my favorite fashion designers, including Isabel Marant, IRO, and Tara Jarmon. These brands are worth knowing if you want to channel your inner French girl.

I hope you had a lovely weekend. I spent most of it with Coco on my lap while she is recovering from surgery and perusing online boutiques. She is doing very well and we thank you for all of the sweet messages and well wishes!
