I recently wrapped up a virtual design for a client in Chicago. The design was for a condo in new construction. My client knew she wanted a lot of marble in her bath {my favourite also) and all of her inspiration photos made my heart skip a few beats. You know you are a match made in design heaven when you are emailing each other during the night because you’re too excited to sleep!
I have wished for a client that would give me the green light for a marble herringbone floor. They are one of my favourite flooring designs for a bath. Everything about this design is beautiful and elegant and reflect my client’s design aesthetic. Once their condo is close to completion, we will be adding more accessories and a few other touches.
It is designs (and clients!) like these that make me love my job. Knowing that each time they, and their guests, walk into this bath and truly love the design, is gratifying and reminds me why I chose this career. Virtual design is wonderful for anyone who wants to be their own project manager and doesn’t mind the extra work. We worked together via email and telephone, along with their contractors and it was a great.
