DIY: Rose Petal Ice Cubes

Roses are in full bloom and I find myself looking for new ideas to use the petals before they fall away and few things are prettier than rose petal ice cubes in a summertime drink.

Supplies:

ice cube tray
pesticide free rose/flower petals
Instructions:

Pour water into the tray until it reaches 1/3 full.  Freeze.
Place petals on top of the ice and add enough water to fill 2/3 full.  Freeze again.
Fill the ice tray to full and freeze.
By freezing in layers, the petals won’t float to the top.
Enjoy!
