Lately, a few favourites that are too wonderful not to share…
Always have a weakness for sweets that are as lovely to look at as they are to eat.

As you would imagine, I love macarons and this meringue version is heavenly and the detailed instructions make it possible to successfully create these delicate French treats in your own kitchen.
I’ve found what I believe to be the perfect workout to lift your derriere and tone the muscles you didn’t know you have, while being fun and challenging at the same time.

I’ve never been one to favor strenuous workouts (or perspiring)…I get bored easy when I work out and wanted to find a routine that was fun and would define my muscles but yet keep a feminine silhouette. Sound impossible? I thought so too. That was until I discovered the Bar Method. I’ve always been a fan of Tracy Anderson but found her DVD’s a challenge to stick with. Again, I need something fun. I went to my local Bar Method studio and instantly knew this was for me. I’ve never seen so many women of all ages, 20’s – 70’s/80’s that are in amazing shape. I aspire to be like the svelte lady in class who is in her 70’s.. she is amazing!
If you follow on Facebook, you know I’m smitten with beautiful photography, especially photos of Paris.

There are so many talented photographers that I admire. After a wonderful lunch with my husband, we spotted a camera shop next to the Starbucks we stopped by. I picked up a new lens for our upcoming Disney trip, a Lensbaby book, and a lens. I also enrolled in a Saturday morning class that will give helpful techniques for interior photos as well. As a designer, professional interior photos are vital.
The winter months are especially hard on our skin and can leave it a bit parched. My go to product is By Terry’s Crème de Rose.
This protective creme consists of a blend of natural rose extracts, UV filters, essential rose wax, and nourishing Floral Oils that instantly hydrate your skin… all while smelling like a delicate bouquet of roses.
