Style Inspiration ~ Midi Skirts

Midi skirts have been on my radar for quite some time.  Modernizing the ingenious New Look from Dior over six decades ago, this ladylike silhouette has come back in a big way.  Classic, chic, and sophisticated, this skirt can take you from a day at the office to an evening out.  The length will depend on your height, ideally the skirt will fall just under your knee to mid-calf.
Retro and perfectly polished with a cozy sweater.
My favourite skirt is worn by Barefoot blonde.

A mix of gingham paired with a military inspired jacket keeps this ensemble from becoming too over the top.
Black lace creates a dramatic and formal look.
I think Blair has each Tibi midi skirt and she always styles them perfectly.
Same skirt as above but completely different styling.  I equally love both looks.
I always love a touch of leopard and Valentino Rockstud’s.
My picks:
What are your thoughts on this trend?

I've been tempted to try out a few midi skirts from ASOS! They seem to have a great selection.

So lady-like. I love the first one with the pretty short top and red bag – a very polished look yet it doent look too contrived.
