I hope you had a lovely week. I haven’t posted much this week as I’m wrapping up a few projects. Do you have any plans for the weekend? IKEA opened here this week and I picked up a storage boxes for my office and a few other things so I’ll be reorganizing. We also have a BBQ to attend. A final outdoor soirée until next summer.
I hope you had a lovely week. I spent most of my week putting away summer things and brining out fall clothing, faux fur blankets, throws and pillows. It still feels like summer other than the dipping temps in the evenings. This weekend, I look forward to spending time with my best girl, Isabella, and doing a little shopping for autumn and winter necessities, getting together with girlfriends for dinner and perhaps a bike ride if I can pull myself away from doing absolutely nothing on a lazy Sunday.
Bonjour mes amis, I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We attended a family BBQ with my husband’s family, spent most of Sunday at the zoo and today is our 19th wedding anniversary. I can hardly believe it. As they say, time flies when you’re having fun. We are planning a day at local winery and romantic dinner at our favorite restaurant.
Designers, Patrick Gilles and Dorothée Boissier, are the talented duo behind Parisian design firm Gilles et Boissier. They began their careers in the Paris studio of one of my favorite designers, Christian Liaigre, before Dorothée moved on to work for another favorite, Philippe Starck.
Paris offers so many wonderful hotels which makes it nearly impossible to choose. Tony and I mostly rent apartments when in Paris, however, the trip we’re planning next year for our 20th anniversary (time flies when you’re having fun!) will most likely have us staying in a hotel since the majority of our trip we will be in Italy, therefore, not meeting the required amount of days of the apartment rental company we stay with. This leaves me with the question – luxurious chain or small boutique? The decision just became more difficult after hearing of the newly renovated Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg.
