The summer seemed to have flown by and before I could catch my breath, September came and our much anticipated trip to Paris.
View from our apartment
This trip was a mix of pleasure and work. I was thrilled to visit the Maison et Objet for the first time. It’s Europe’s largest trade design exhibition, held bi-annually, which gives a glimpse into the direction of design trends for the following year. It’s an interior designer’s dream!
There was a mix of high drama and rusticity – think Hollywood Regency meets Restoration Hardware. There were signs stating no photography was allowed but a few exhibitors were kind enough to allow me to take photographs.
I loved this white Louis table!
This reclaimed wood table with a glass top paired with modern chairs was stunning.
There were several vendors showing Christmas décor.
The 8 exhibit halls were enormous. If you plan to attend, give yourself a couple of days to see everything. I needed a glass of champagne and a bubble bath at the end of the evening!
Wishing you a beautiful week!
xoxo, B
