Wishing You a Beautiful Week, plus Life’s Little Luxuries

Receiving an unexpected bouquet of roses or love letter, finding a new favourite beauty product or fragrance, or being whisked away for a romantic weekend… it’s the little luxuries in life that take our breath away.
I’ll be writing of my favourite ‘little luxuries’ from time to time to share some of favourite discoveries.

These sexy Louboutin’s had me at ‘Hello’  It’s no secret that my heart belongs to Louboutin where shoes are concerned.  I was lucky enough to find the last pair in my size, or so I thought, but upon arrival I discovered they were a tad too big.  The very sweet and helpful sales associate offered to have pads placed under the soles and, to my delight, it was like magic!

Laque de Rose

Winter certainly takes it’s toll on my skin, especially my lips.  Last month when my wonderful husband and I took our yearly before Christmas trip to Chicago, we stopped at the By Terry cosmetic counter at Barney’s.  It’s here that I fell in love with a new lip gloss, eyeshadow and complexion enhancing blush.

Hypnotic Copper
By Terry products are to my lips and cheeks what Louboutin is to my toes.

Vosges Haut-Chocolate

I’ve written before that Vosges Haut-Chocolat is a favourite.  A stop to the Lincoln Park location in Chicago is a must.  Their La Parisienne couture cocoa is my favourite {I do like each of them} as is everything else that has passed through my lips.  I purchased The Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix for the first time and my kids and husband gave it rave reviews… and they look as delicious as the photo!

Joie silk blouse

I spotted this pleated silk blouse by Joie in Saks the other day.  The beautiful bow in the back and romantic Dusty Pink Sand colour drew me in closer.  It will be perfect with my new Louboutin’s.

I do wish I could find a more flattering photo.  Once paired with a pair of trousers or skirt, it is absolutely très chic!  What are your favourite little luxuries?
Wishing you a most lovely week!  xoxo, B
