…drizzling rain but I don’t mind so much as the temperature is perfect..
the flowers are blooming, the trees are growing leaves, and the grass is beginning to be lush. I love spring. I’m sure you never would have guessed.
A few months ago, I mentioned that Ladurée was opening a store in NYC..
however, I received an email from them this morning stating that it will now open in June. I was disappointed to hear this as I was hoping to visit the store next month.
Now I’ searching for the next best place.. any recommendations??

I don't think I can be of much help … Those sandals are to die for though 🙂
Macaron Cafe (http://macaroncafe.com/) is my favorite, I don't like Bouchon, though many disagree. And this is probably sacrilege, but since the quality of macarons in shops are erratic at best (the biggest problem is staleness – yuck), I've begun to rely on Trader Joe's which carries frozen macarons at much more reasonable prices.

In NYC try La Maison du Chocolate on upper east side They have two locations and one is larger and serves tea and hot chocolate etc.
The other place I like is Payard chocolate bar he is French pastry chef and he closed his bistro and opened the chocolate bar a year or so ago. Both would be very French and very good.
